A team of acclaimed architects has been assembled to bring The Wellington to life – a private club community defined by exceptional architecture, refined landscapes, holistic wellness, and an uncompromising standard of service. Award-winning firm Workshop/APD is leading the design of The Wellington’s master plan and core amenities, blending modern architecture with timeless, traditional influences. The community’s 253 private residences will exemplify the highest level of architectural design, created by a distinguished collection of firms including Workshop/APD, D. Stanley Dixon, Morris Adjmi Architects, and Squire & Partners.

Workshop/APD

Master Plan, Core Amenities & Residential Architect

Workshop/APD is an award-winning architecture and design firm recognized for creating spaces defined by a strong sense of place, purpose, and experience. Its work spans layered urban penthouses, seaside retreats, luxury residential communities, hotels, and restaurants, unified by a timelessly modern aesthetic that is deeply responsive to context.

Led by founding principals Andrew Kotchen and Matt Berman, along with principal Thomas Zoli, the firm’s multidisciplinary, vertically integrated team of architects, interior designers, and product designers operates from studios in New York City, Minneapolis, Greenwich, and Nantucket. This breadth of expertise enables Workshop/APD to address complex design challenges at every scale, resulting in evocative spaces that are both refined and highly livable.

Landscape Architect

The renowned LaGuardia Design Group will shape The Wellington’s landscape vision. Known for its environmentally conscious and enduring designs, the New York-based firm will complement the architectural vision with landscapes that are both timeless and immersive – harmonizing seamlessly with the natural environment. With a deep understanding of how landscape, architecture, and lifestyle intersect, LaGuardia will create a naturally beautiful and quietly luxurious outdoor experience that defines life at The Wellington.

Morris Adjmi Architects

Residential Architect

Morris Adjmi Architects is a New York-based architecture and interior design firm celebrated for its thoughtful engagement with history, its reinterpretation of industrial forms, and its innovative use of materials. Founded by Morris Adjmi, FAIA, the firm approaches each project with a deep respect for context and the forces that shape cities and communities.

 

Adjmi’s architectural perspective was shaped by the cast-iron balconies and Creole cottages of his hometown, New Orleans, and refined through years of study and practice in New York and Milan, including a 13-year collaboration with Pritzker Prize-winning architect Aldo Rossi. The result is architecture that feels grounded, expressive, and distinctly contemporary.

D. Stanley Dixon

Residential Architect

D. Stanley Dixon is an award-winning architect and founder of the Atlanta-based firm D. Stanley Dixon Architect, widely respected for its timeless residential work. Dixon’s designs are rooted in classical principles and historical precedent, yet thoughtfully adapted for modern living.

Drawing from a wide range of influences – from traditional Southern architecture to European-inspired estates – his work is characterized by careful attention to proportion, materiality, and detail. Through close collaboration with clients, artisans, and interior designers, Dixon creates homes that are elegant, enduring, and deeply livable.
